Oregon DA for the People Phone Banking Training!
Sunday March 29th 1-3pm Zoom Call

The district attorney is the most powerful position in the criminal legal system, significantly and disproportionately harming black and brown people’s lives. Oregon DA for the People aims to decrease the everyday impact that the criminal legal system has on communities of color, while building community power to self-determine what safety and healing look like.
We are a coalition of grassroots community organizations, community members, and volunteers. We demand that the District Attorney hold police officers accountable, commit to ending mass incarceration, and decline to prosecute charges that criminalize us and don't keep us safe. For more on what we fight for, read our People's Platform: bit.ly/ORDAplatform
Join the mass movement to build safety, restorative justice, and healing that is held within the community and doesn't have to rely on police or prisons! We will be offering a zoom call training about phone banking on Saturday March 29th from 1-3pm. We are mobilizing to outreach to community members and voters to educate them about the powers of the DA, let them know to vote in the May 19th primary elections for DA, and ask them to join our movement.
Please register to gain access to the zoom call link.
